Facilitated by marriage experts, Chris Bruno and Tracy Johnson, and hosted by Spring Creek Lavender, this two day retreat will take you through four curated experiences that are key to developing marital belonging in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

  • Is there lodging nearby?
    There are a variety of options depending on what you are looking for. There are wonderful VRBO's and Air B&B's in the area from a local treehouse to lakefront cabins. The closest hotels to the farm are in North Utica which is about 15-20 minutes from the farm. There are also hotels in Rome, NY which is around 25 minutes and New Hartford which is around 30 minutes away.
  • What makes the Thrive Marriage Weekend different?
    It's about an experience. While Chris and Tracy are wise practitioners they are even better guides. This weekend will be about interacting and experiencing with your spouse. Chris and Tracy will help through inviting you to that space and providing prompts for you to go deeper. Also, our location is unique. You will have the chance to enjoy God's creation, smell flowers, play with animals, and relax.
  • What does the payment include?
    We aim for this to be an all inclusive experience. Your admission will include: - Friday evening session with Chris and Tracy - Evening time on the farm including a bonfire after the session - Saturday morning session - Saturday lunch - Snacks - Water and Coffee - Small goodie bag - Booklet for notes - Saturday afternoon sesion - Time on the farm including entrance to the butterfly house, goats, and farm grounds
  • Is this outside?
    Yes, the event will be outside. It will be under our tent/pavilion. In the event of severe weather an alternate location nearby may be utilized. Please dress for August weather and for being outside.
